Pitti Filati, Florence. January 24-26 2018. Invited by ArteViva, the Italian company specialised in hand-loom luxury fabrics and knitting, Carmina Campus presents the new Shawl bag entirely made of waste textiles. A scarf but also a bag: one side handloomed with scraps and selvedges of nylon fabrics for umbrellas provided by Tessiture Mariani. The other side made of denim colour samples with large pockets. A truly sustainable fashion object of stylish design, perfectly fit for Moda Futuribile, the special project focused on sustainability, which is the framework of ArteViva-Carmina Campus collaboration at Pitti Filati.
